Diamond Gloss is not a wax or silicone. It is a high performance, resin based paint coating that naturally adheres to the paint surface and cures to a hard film. This product was developed in the aerospace and injection mold industries.

The hard film coating forms a sacrificial resin base that sheilds the paint from ultra-violet damage, acid rain and other industrial pollutants. The coating also has slippage qualities that repel bugs, bird droppings, tree sap, and road tar. The coating will not crack or peel and will not wash off. It will wear off over time (minimum 18 to 24 months), so the coating should be reinforced annually to assure maximum protection.

Because Diamond Gloss is a resin based coating, it actually reinforces and strengthens the manufacturer's clear coat and reduces the possibility of premature cracking or peeling. Laboratory and feild testing reaffirms that an automotive clear coat surface protected with Diamond Gloss is less likely to crack, peel, or fade than an untreated surface.
